Nashville State Community College’s North Davidson campus Student Success Advisor Brent Smith has been honored with the 2025 TBR Chancellor’s Commendation for Military Veterans.

As part of the college’s bi-annual Convocation, twenty-seven educators were recognized during a pinning ceremony on Nashville State’s White Bridge campus for earning ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) certifications.

“We did it.” Those are the words that Luemettrea Williams shared with her daughter, Kaycen, after she crossed the stage and collected her diploma at this May’s Nashville State graduation.

With the help of the Nashville Predators Foundation and United Way of Greater Nashville, the Nashville State Community College Foundation is launching Folded with Care, a new pilot program debuting in Fall 2025.

Thanks to Belmont, the college is offering two free credited summer programs for incoming Fall 2025 semester first-time students. The programs will be held at the North Davidson campus and the Southeast campus.
